Includes much on the church's history and its organizations, general departments, publications, and statistics.  A chronology of bishops includes biographical and ecclesiastical facts for each.  Appendices include a biographical address by Bishop Richard R. Wright, Jr. on the ministry of the church's founder and first Bishop, Richard Allen (1760-1831). With 35 portraits of then-current A.M.E. church leaders.
