London: John Stockdale. Poor. 1789. First Edition; First Printing. Hardcover. The original boards are very rubbed and worn, reinforced at the spine with tape. Xlib stamps & owner's bookplate on the fep & inside cover & title page. Uthe plates are not stamped. Unfortunately, there are only 12 plates left in the book. Two folding maps, 3 2-page maps/charts, and the rest single page plates. Sold as-is. Sad, as the rest of the book is really very nice, with white pages & very little foxing. The plates present are #'s 8, 13, 14, 30, 31, 32, 33, 34, 35, 37 & 38 & the frontice. ; Ex-Library; Small 4to 9" - 11" tall .
