Each volume w ith separate title page and frontis plate. 5 1/4" x 8", 317 and 331 pa ges plus ads at the rear hardcover bound in blind blind stamped cloth with gold illustrated spine and decorations. Volume two has a hand col ored frontis plate of the present emperor of China. A Good copy. Rubbi ng and fraying to the book's corners and spine tips. There is a 6 cm s plit starting along the front spine seam with a little bit of cloth lo ss. Dust spotting to the edges of the upper page block. Scattered foxi ng to the pages. Hinges solid, unmarked. .
