These are large books but no increase in postage in Australia. Originally published in London in 1777 this is a facsimile edition No. 191. Cook's account of the voyage performed in the ships Resolution and Adventure in the years 1772, 1773, 1774, and 1775 and includes Captain Furneaux's narrative of his proceedings in the Adventure during separation of the ships.
Volume 1 - 377 pages with 36 plates including fold out maps and pictures.
Volume 2 - 396 pages with 27 plates including fold out maps and pictures.
Books are in near fine condition ex library with (for both) sticker inside front cover, a stamp on publishing page and back endpaper and reference code on spine. Title labels on spine are lifting, more so volume 1. Covers have some minor marks (see photos).
