The binding has been rebacked at some point but retains the original leather spine, some general wear and rubbing, joints firm, boards a little marked, corners worn. All edges bright gilt. Contents clean and tight, this is a library copy and has a simple plate to the front pastedown and a stamp, "last copy in county" to the reverse of the title page, endpapers may have been replaced, but not well done ... , no inscriptions. A good copy in its original French..
