Cambridge: Harvard College Library, 1940. paper-covered boards, paper cover label, slipcase with paper cover label. 4to. paper-covered boards, paper cover label, slipcase with paper cover label. (14) pages. First edition. Outer wrapper torn along front hinge. Slipcase toned along edges, with some wear. This letter was written by Dwiggins to Ruzicka in 1937 and describes how Dwiggins went about designing type. The text was "slightly expanded" for this book. The text is calligraphic. With two color stencil work on the title page and the colophon.
