Some lightl spotting throughout, small bookseller sticker to front pastedown, contemporary ownership inscription to verso of front endpaper, small split to upper hinge, original gilt lettered cloth soiled with small gilt device to upper board, spine soiled, darkened and slightly bumped with some loss to head. Chapters include Coral, Coral Islands, Ahmeek the Beaver, Gum-Arabic, Zoophytes, Ostracods, Microscopic Objects, Sponges, The Red Snow plant, etc. Size - 170mm. x 115mm. Uncommon. [11428/738].
