An extensive history of the dhow vessel and its use among the Arab cultures in the Red Sea, Indian Ocean, etc. The work includes many interviews, considers the different types of dhows and their importance to the people of the region. GOOD+ condition. Minor fading, soiling and wrinkling to the jacket. Minor bumping and edgewear to the jacket. Uneven fading to the book, with light discoloration to the cloth. Owner's name, date and a small arrow in ink on the title page/copyright page.
