The second (the first was in two volumes), revised and enlarged edition of this local history classic, relating to the historic town of Wakefield, West Yorkshire. The work is in two volumes profusely illustrated. Bound in dark blue buckram with gilt lettering and fleur de lys design to front boards, with bevel edges. Limited to 350 copies, signed by J. W. Walker. This is a very good copy of this significant work..
