Provenance: Juliana Bayfield (1938-2011), the influential librarian at the Children's Literature Research Centre at the State Library of South Australia from 1982 until her retirement in 2001. The half-title is inscribed 'To Juliana with Friendly greetings. Marcie. October 1993'.
