London: Longman/Walker, c.1845.. An engraved map, hand-coloured, mounted on linen. In 15 sections, folded into binding. When opened it measures 16 x 13.5 inches, mounted in the original cloth binding which measures about 4 x 5 inches. Descriptive leaf mounted on inner front cover. Decorative printed paper label on front cover. Light wear to binding, the map is in very nice condition. Issued in the series: Walker's County Maps. First published 1835; this edition is from the 1840s (the population figures given on the descriptive leaf are dated 1841).
