New York: Am. F. M. R. Society, 1847. Eleventh Edition. Small 12mo (15.5cm.); contemporary plum cloth-backed marbled boards, gilt-lettered spine; 324,11pp.; engraved portrait frontispiece. Binding rubbed and worn, old large dampstain to preliminary leaves affecting frontispiece and title page. Good or better overall. Religious memoirs of Margaret Prior, who moved to New York City as an adult, where she founded a soup kitchen and a school for the city's destitute children. See SABIN 65698 for the first (1843) edition.
