About This Item

Simon & Schuster. Good+ in Good+ dust jacket. 1959. First Edition; First Printing. Hardcover. ; Half black cloth cover with fuschia boards is worn at extremities with lightly bumped corners and modest soiling but in good+ condition. Boards and spine are straight. Binding is tight. Abrasions to front and rear paste downs where DJ protector was likely formerly affixed (do NOT appear to be ex-library). Front end sheet improperly adhering to front paste down from a former repair to the gutter. Inscribed and signed by author on title page. Pages are toned but clean and very good. Also laid-in is the cover and front matter from the first paperback edition by Pocket Books. Dust jacket has wear and creasing with very modest soiling to back panel but bright and in good+ condition. DJ flap is price clipped. DJ protected by a brand new, clear, acid-free mylar cover. We add mylar covers to all books with DJs to preserve the DJs and add luster to magnify their beauty. (If pictured, shown without the mylar cover for an accurate representation of dust jacket. ) ; 244 pages; Signed by Author .
