About This Item
New York: Random House, 1954. First Edition. Hardcover. Very good/Very good. A children's biography of Osceola and the Seminole War in Florida.
180 pages. No. 50 in the Landmark Books series. First edition (no statement of later printing; this book is the last on the Landmark list at the back of the book and on the rear panel of the dust jacket). A very good copy in a very good dust jacket. The jacket has a one-inch snag at the top edge and minor loss to the spine. This copy is inscribed by McNeer and signed by both McNeer and Ward with their first names, suggesting that this was signed for people close to them. "All good wishes to Josephine and Bob from May and Lynd." All but the last word is in McNeer's hand.
