Chernow's 2nd book, after the 1990 'House of Morgan'. . Inscription reads: "To Ida Memel - welcome to the house of Warburg Best wishes - Ron Chernow 11/10/93". DJ rear flap gives 10/93 publication date. Flawless. Spine top & heel straight and smooth as new, same with the four tips. Book likely never read. It stays closed when stood on its spine. DJ also AS NEW. CP states 'first edition' and the number line starts with a '2', which is the Random House unique way, of almost all the publishers, of marking a first edition. .
