About This Item
The Regent Press, 1890. Hardcover. Very Good in Good dust jacket/Good. The pages of this copy are crisp, only very faintly age-toned, and quite clean, with no ownership marks; the binding is gently relaxed, but square and secure. The green cloth cover, titled in black and decorated in orange, shows only the very faintest hint of shelving rub at the lower corners and spine ends and one faint line of light-coloured soil near the spine head, and is otherwise clean and lovely. The jacket shows some chipping with a little loss of material over the spine head and at the corners, two short, closed tears at the upper front, some age-toning around the edges, one small spot and a little darkening at the spine, a few small spots at the lower front, and some rubbing at edges and shoulders, but is overall remarkably well-preserved and attractive, now protected in a clear, archivally safe sleeve.
