Square 4to (12" x 10"), original pictorial boards with cloth spine, illustrated, 114, [1], 34 pp. Covers faded and worn, spine with some tears and a couple of small some pieces missing, newspaper clippings pasted on front endpapers and pastedown, a couple of margin tears, some foxing, aging and staining, a piece missing from the map of Asia. This school atlas contains a number of colored maps, and has many text illustrations. It also has a blue page bound in that includes 1880 census information. Since this is the New England Edition, it has 34 pages, and some colored maps, dedicated to that part of the country.
