Near Fine with a few tiny stains to front board, contents unmarked and fairly bright, in Very Good dust jacket designed by the author, chipped around head and tail, price-clipped, spine panel toned and stained. One of the first firsthand reports of the Holocaust (and in particular the Warsaw ghetto tragedy) to be published in the United States, written by a teenager in shorthand. The author never sought publicity for her work. Over the years it has gained recognition as one of the most lucid, important accounts of the European Jewish experience during WWII.
