Signature ffep of Roberta Kerr Elliot August 27th, 1888; and manuscript note in same hand, beneath author's name at title page, "the brother of my grandfather". Three quarter brown leather and marbled boards, respined with modern gilt spine. 16mo, frontispiece, xii, 310pp, 3 plates. Corners and marbled boards a bit rubbed; scattered fox spotting.
