The illustrations begin and end in dull colours but in between is the blazing bright circus which comes to the wasteground and fires one little boy's imagination for ever. No inscriptions, a touch of rubbing to lower corners of boards, otherwise a Fine clean copy in near Fine DUSTWRAPPER, not price clipped, minute pale mark at tail of spine).
