Green cloth cover with gilding and embossing to cover and spine. Measures approximately 6" x 4.5" x .75" (115 x 155 x 20 mm).
Nice crisp copy, with red page edges. Some shelf wear, corner bumps, rubbing to back cover. Owner signature on inside page.
From wikipedia: Watch and Ward is a short novel by Henry James, first published as a serial in The Atlantic Monthly in 1871 and later as a book in 1878. This was James' first novel, though he virtually disowned the book later in life.
