A First UK printing published by Jonathan Cape in 1969.This is the scarce Hardback edition which was released in a very small print run.The BOOK is in near FINE condition.Upper text block a little toned and dusty else in lovely condition.The WRAPPER is in near Fine condition and is complete.The spine has a hint of toning and the white background colouring on the wraparound design is slightly marked in places (see images).The period wrapper artwork by LEIGH TAYLOR looks very striking and evocative of the time in the removable Brodart archival protector.The book has been SIGNED and DATED by ROGER McCGOUGH to the title page.Very scarce to find as a hardback edition let alone signed.A lovely item!
