About This Item

Mild toning.. A 6" x 7 1/2" hand penned and watercolor Reward of Merit addressed to George G. Stover for Non-absence, Improvement in School, District No.__. Two stems of watercolor stippled rosebuds with nicely detailed Leaves. Of particular note is the interesting "ghost" of the flowers on the reverse of the reward. Most likely something from the paint prevented oxidation in those areas!
