A scarce title that examines the construction of the atom, Newtonian physics, etc. xvi, 293pp; 5 illus.; tables. Inscribed by hand "John Fryer, from the author" on half title page; bookplate on fep; binding shaken but secure. Light wear to the extremities of the covers, but overall a nice example of the scarce first edition..
