Back panel of dj's ISBN code has a black streak probably indicating remaindered copy. Sara Gruen (born 1969 in Vancouver) is an author with dual Canadian and U.S. citizenship. Her third book, Water for Elephants was a bestseller and became a fim starring Reese Witherspoon. An animal lover, her books often deal with animals and their care. AT WATER'S EDGE is her fifth novel and deals with a father-son rivalry and the young man's quest for the Loch Ness monster.
