Paris: The Olympia Press, 1958. First Edition. Hardcover. Very Good/Very Good +. First hardcover edition. Beckett's second novel, written while he was in France during the Occupation. The book was published in the Traveller's Companion Series from Olympia Press in Paris, which was known for publishing avant-garde writers and controversial works of literature. 279 pages. 7" x 4.75". Very good copy with some bowing of the front board, and a small tear at foot of spine. Very good plus bright and unclipped dust jacket with some edgewear and small chip at foot of spine.
