Good (front endpaper missing)/no dustwrapper. 8vo. b&w illustrations Scarce illustrated history of the Waverley Bowling and Recreation Club (Sydney), from foundation in 1893 to the mid-1940's; b&w illustrations throughout; from the library of Max and Reet Howell - Max Howell played club rugby for Randwick, and also played 5 tests for the Wallabies between 1946-48; he went on to become an author and professor of Human Movements at the University of Queensland; born in Sweden, Reet Howell was also an author, and professor of Human Movements (at QUT Brisbane); signed by Max Howell to front pastedown; bookshop stamp to front pastedown, front endpaper missing, o.w. Good throughout; boards rubbed, sunned and with worn patches to spine
