First Edition; A Near Fine book in a Very Good dust jacket. A handsome copy of this novel, the 2nd work by the author of "Knock on any Door". This copy is in near fine condition with only light age-toning to the text block and some very mild shelf wear to the edges. Housed in a clean and bright very good dust jacket that shows some fading to the spine, mild rubbing and creasing to the edges and folds, and a few pieces of tape repair to the verso of the jacket (invisible externally). Not remaindered, not price clipped, not ex-library; in a fresh Mylar sleeve and will ship carefully wrapped in a sturdy box.
