The author is a member of the Standing Rock Sioux tribe. --- In full blue cloth-covered boards with gilt titling to spine. Volume wrapped in dust jacket with colorful Jason McWhorter image of an Indian brave to front panel. --- The title page is missing and the front free endpaper has been cut in half, and with prior owner's signature to the half title page and tape residue to covers. Unclipped jacket ($5.95) with retailer's sticker to front flap and light soiling, else bright and intact; wrapped in removable archival mylar protector.; Octavo - 8 to 9 in. tall; 227 pages .
