Book condition: Very good, clean decorated brown boards, tight binding, no inscriptions. Jacket condition: Fair, clean, bright, not faded, rubbing to edges with creases, repairs and minor loss, now protected in removable clear book wrap. Comments: A detailed record of excavations undertaken in The Sudan at sites Abu Geili, Saqadi and Dar El Mek with illustrations showing findings, site layouts, etc. The site is close to the Blue Nile some 150 miles from Khartoum, and the findings suggest influences of Meroitic society and Fung invaders.. Hard Cover. Very Good/Fair. Folio - over 12" - 15" tall.
