This work describes the various types of traditional houses and is profusely illustrated with Frontis and other b/w illustrations throughout; including plans and sketches - many folding. Very clean and tidy throughout. Lightly soiled dust wrapper that is slightly darkened to the spine. 230 x 150 mm (9 x 6 inches). Iorwerth C. Peate was The Keeper of the Department of Folk Cultures and Industries, in The National Museum of Wales. From the library of the Welsh Nationalist John Legonna (1918-1978), author of the book Celtic Odyssey. Has his bookplate to front endpaper.
