Slightly spine cocked. Previous owner's name on ffep with date (1942). Very slight foxing to some pages. Dust jacket has a small chip at the foot of spine; spine is toned. DJ in a clear archival sleeve. The jacket features a black, grey, and orange night-scene illustration of canal houses with a lamp and crescent moon, illustrated by Leon Holman. 128 pp. 18.5 x 11 cm. Laid-in is the publisher's postcard, to be filled out to be kept up-to-date about their publications.
