About This Item

"The contributors to (this book) consist of eminent colleagues of Dr. Morton, including his equally renowned contemporary, Donald Creighton, plus Ramsay Cook, Craig Brown, Jacques Monet, Richard Allen, and others. Each of them has prepared for this volume an article which adds a new dimension to areas of Canadian history in which Dr. Morton specialized: western Canadian history from the earliest explorations to the protest movements of the twenties and thirties, the history of the Conservative Party, and the role of the monarchy in Canadian life. In addition, Carl Berger has contributed an essay which analyzes and assesses Dr. Morton's contribution to the field of history." Minor browning to bottom of text block, moderate browning in margins of pages and to fore-edge and top of text block. Dust jacket has very light edge wear/wrinkling, one small edge tear (with crease) and two tiny tears - archivally taped, minor rubbing, verry light browning at top edge of flaps.. First Edition. Hard Cover. Good+/Very Good.
