About This Item
D&D, 2000s. Very Good Plus. Signed by Gohkle on fc & cf. First Edition, softcover 8vo, stapled, 32pp, b/w t/o, color wrappers. Contemporary adult digest magazine featuring Gohkle posing nude outdoors, full-pg photos. Hundreds of similar digest magazines were produced by fly-by-night operations beginning in the late 1950s, mainly around New York, most by Leonard Burtman. Earlier digest examples maintained airbrushing techniques rolled over from nudist magazines, much of the posing naturally obscuring otherwise censored areas. Nearly all were packaged as "figure studies" for the art or photography enthusiast. Still scarce institutionally. Gohkle reprints photos from her sessions as a pinup model, w/ subtitle "Vintage Pinup Parade, Volume One." Very Good Plus, light rubbing & toning, spine stress. For mature, consenting audiences.
