8vo, later morocco spine and marbled boards, 360 pp. Hinges cracked and top cover almost detached, some wear at extremities; despite imperfections the binding is still somewhat attractive; internally library of Philadelphia duplicate stamp on front pastedown, foxing. Scarce title, and according to Howes "one of the earliest American-printed emigrant guides." A review of useful information for each state or territory is provided, including counties.
