Los Angeles: Automobile Club of Southern California, 1954. Pictorial boards. Very good/No Jacket. [vi], 63p. Name and blind stamp on front endpaper, cover edges toned. These 28 maps were originally published in Westways magazine between January, 1950 and September, 1952. The principal routes of trade and exploration in the American Southwest are represented, "beginning with [Zebulon Montgomery] Pike's 1806 expedition and concluding with the completion of the first transcontinental railroad in 1869." [Introduction] Designed by Ward Ritchie. Black and orange maps by Lowell Butler. (11-1/4"x8-3/4")
