New York: Macmillan Publishing Co., Inc., (1975).. (1975).. Good. SIGNED BY STEPHEN SPENDER - Quarto, 10 inches high by 7-1/2 inches wide. Golden yellow cloth titled in black on the spine with a vignette illustration in black on the front cover, in a pictorial dust wrapper. The dust jacket is creased with minor wear and rubbing at the edges. 255 pages, with several pages of illustrations. From the collection of James Thurman Bass, Jr. with his bookplate on the front pastedown. The edges of the first and last few leaves are foxed. There are a couple of score marks to the bottom edge of the book. Good. <p>First American edition.<p>Signed by Stephen Spender on the half-title.
