Covers grubby and faded, shelf wear, spine faded, end paper hinges previously reinforced with blue tape, contents clean. Synopsis:Haley ran away at the age of twelve. Returned to school in 1848/49 but within a few months went off to sea in the ship Charles W Morgan. The author wrote this at the time of his marriage in 1864 after he had retired from the sea and was living in Hawaii. This is the first UK edition. Quantity Available: 1.
