London: Collins. Good+ in Fair dust jacket. 1962. First Edition. Hardcover. 184 p. 22 cm. Sound and square binding in green tweed paper-covered boards. Some wear along the edges. Text block edges are a bit grimy and tanned. There is offsetting discoloration to both sets of endpapers, with light foxing to rear pair. Inside pages are clean and unmarked, with slight age toning. Dustjacket has heavy edge, corner and folds wear; including, tears, creases and tiny chips. The spine is somewhat faded. A native-lore story of the Hotsath Indians in British Columbia and their hunt for the giant whales of the Pacific. .
