New York: Charles Scribner's Sons, 1914. Hardcover. Fair/No Jacket. 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall. 391pp. Maroon library binding, gilt lettering to spine. Wear and staining to covers, ex-library with usual markings, soiling and scattered foxing throughout, one page tape-repaired, binding is tight, and book is very readable. This book is not without its faults, but it is an early printing of a scare publication. The Beard sisters were co-founders of the first American girls' scouting group, which eventually became the Camp Fire Girls.
