Farrell (1904-1979) was a prolific American novelist, short story writer, and poet well known and valued for his blue-collar, Irish-Catholic Depression-era stories set in Chicago. The series was made into a film in 1960 and tv series in 1979. The dust jacket of When Boyhood Dreams Come True is in Very Good/Good+ Condition with light soil and chipping plus wear to the front cover. Previous owner's signature on top of front pastedown and name scratched into the bottom edge of the pages.
