New Haven: Yale University Press, 1920. First edition, stated first published 1920. Historical fiction, based on a true story, set among the Plains Indians, illustrated with black and white plates from photographs. Tan pictorial hardcover printed in black and green, 114 pages, matching dustjacket. Near very good conditon with some light edge rubbing, good hinges, sound text block, some foxing mainly to pages adjacent to plates, foxing to some plate top margins, pages otherwise clean with no names or other markings. The mylar protected dustjacket is not priceclipped [2.50] and is in very good condition with some light shelf soil and and very minor chips to far spine ends.. Hard Cover. Good/Very Good. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
