Longmans Green and Co., 1893. 3rd edn. 8vo (7¾ x 5½ ins). Rebound in contemporary green cloth, gilt lettered calf spine label, top edge gilt and floral patterned endpapers (VG). Pp. xv + 528, illus with folding map (partly torn at fold), b&w plates and in text (printed in red and black, illus with b&w plates (previous owner's armorial bookplate on front paste-down and neat pencil inscription on half title).
