Names of four characters underlined in ink in the first appearance of each in the text, the same names inscribed on last page of text, with page number of first appearance. Coth lightly worn, black ink marker on top and bottom edges of text block, else very good, dust jacket not present.

A rare Depression-era, proto-superhero, Robin Hood tale of a writer living a triple life, in part as the caped and hooded jewel thief, the "White Cowl." OCLC locates three copies, at the Library of Congress, Ohio State, and Tulane.
