Mild wear and bumping to spine, board edges and corners, with scuffing, stain spotting and marking across the boards. Notable tanning to spine. Small splits (approx. 1cm) to spine ends.

Very good with spine darkened, two quarter-sized water stains on rear board, lacking the dustwrapper, otherwise; nice and solid with pages bright. Philip MacDonald also authored "The Rasp". He twice received an Edgar Award for Best Short Story: in 1953, for "Something to Hide," and in 1956, for "Dream No More.
