signed copy of Christopher Makos's White Trash. Makos was born in Massachusetts, grew up in California, and then moved to Paris to study architecture, where he met and worked as an assistant for Man Ray. While working in New York as a staff photographer for Interview magazine, he photographed the downtown and nascent punk scenes.
