About This Item

Fine copy in the uncommon plain d/j and original box as issued. The original plain d/j has a piece out of the top of the spine, (intentionally done) so that the title may be read, and the original box has very light wear. Printed at the Riverside Press and edited by John Albree with a lovely frontis photo in gravure of a young Whittier and limited to 189 copies designed by (?) Bruce Rogers. (It looks like a duck)
