About This Item
When this book was first published in 1942 it was called the best book written on North American Indian life. The author has written extensively on American Indian cultural life, including the controversial 'Book of the Hopi". The book has bumping of the spine on top and bottom and the spine is somewhat browned. However, the binding is tight, almost unread, and the pages are clean and unmarked, and the corners are crisp. The copyright page says 1942, but this is the twentieth anniversary, fourth edition.

About mark mcdonald
Book collector for over 30 years. I'm retired and ready to sell. I buy almost exclusively from estate sales and since I've lived in Dallas my whole life, I know the people and where to go. I am a low volume collector and seller and deal in higher quality books. I have a lot of signed and inscribed books. These signatures have not been officially authenticated, but I am confident in their authenticity so I will guarantee them in perpetuity if it can be reasonably demonstrated that the signature is incorrect. .
