About This Item
This is a first edition of Why I Didn't Say Anything -- The Sheldon Kennedy Story. The title refers to why Kennedy kept secret the sexual abuse he suffered at the hands of his Minor League hockey coach, Graham James. In 1996, after trauma-related drug and alcohol abuse derailed Kennedy's NHL career, he publicly told his story; James was sent to prison but is now out and coaching in Europe.
