The book has a very faint moisture ring on the rear cover (not evident on the jacket). The jacket has a little edgewear and a small scratch on the spine. The verso of the jacket lists 393 ML titles, indicating a publishing date of 1960 - 1961. A new translation by Eva Le Gallienne. Includes Pillars of Society, The Wild Duck, The Lady from the Sea, Little Eyolf, John Gabriel Borkman, and When We Dead Awaken.
